LOL I was wondering when I saw the title what Surf meant but it all became clear.

    it was my 7th city to surf: number 19021. :P , I missed 2007.
Gatorade mades great glue for sneakers..
No Mushroom pics uploaded here? :(
Your description of the race cracked me up, guys at work were worried about the giggling at midnight :)

Crap I had forgotten about the Harbour bridge, You will kick my arse.

“oh great snake whisperer” a cool section on snakies :) Live prey is dangerous to the snake too. Many snakes have died from rat bites, cruel to both the prey and the snake.
The best thing about snakes is that you KNOW what they are going to do, no surprises. :)

    I likey this show.

Enjoyed hearing about your experience in the City to Surf run, Tim. Good luck wit the new job application!

  4. Tim, you’re trying to change people’s perceptions of snakes as evil, but you name the snake Apophis? The Egyptian god who was the embodiment of the powers of dissolution, darkness and non-being? Strange choice. Also the name of the near Earth asteroid that they thought might strike the earth a few years back and kill us all. I think snakes need a more savvy branding and PR person. ;)

That all being said, I love the name and the historical reference. Congrats on your new pet and congrats on the run. It sounds like the run went very well. A little crowded there though from the sound of it.

Good luck with the job application. I hope you get the job and get it as quickly as possible.

  5. I’m listening to this episode a bit late, and somewhat out of order.

Good luck with the new job/ job search. I completely understand how it is to be at a job that is giving you a hassle. I also have had the misfortune of dealing with lengthy interview/application process. Good luck with both!

Congrats on the City to Surf! No way I could do something like that. Interesting stories you were telling about that. :) I would never have guessed that being involved in something like that would be so filled with stories.

Snakes don’t “freak me out”, but they aren’t fuzzy and cuddly. Not something for me, but I do think they are cool. I’ve been enjoying the photos you have of the snakes on your flickr.
