Hello? Anybody out there? Anyone listening or reading for that matter?
I seriously suck as a podcaster. This I know and I’m sure you know that too. I have wanted to put out a podcast, but so many things have gotten in the way, especially technology. Seriously, I must’ve pissed off a tech deity at some stage and now I am feeling their wrath! I’ve had the PC fail multiple times with various things, programs fail, iPhone fail, car dramas, the list goes on.
Much has happened since my last despatch. In fact, shit loads has happened that I don’t even know where to begin! I couldn’t even begin to write it all down either. Guess I’ll have to do a few mammoth podcasts in the (distant) future. In meantime, it looks like I’ll be blogging.

Until next despatch….
::sigh::
My bad luck with technology continues. Have recorded a podcast and yet somehow during the saving process (I’m guessing), I’ve lost about a quarter of the podcast. I’m currently attempting to salvage this episode so you all actually have something to listen too!
Thanks!

A special presentation of a short film entitled “Simply The Best” which was shot on location at my work place and stars yours truly. Special thanks go to Sue Taggart who has kindly given permission for her film to be released for your viewing.
To help celebrate International Nurses’ Day 2009, the New South Wales Nurses’ Association (NSWNA) launched the Inaugural Nurses Short Film Festival. Some 20 or so short films were submitted from hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and so on from around the state. When my work colleauge Sue Taggart approached me and asked if I would be interested in helping out, I could hardly refuse. So after literally doing a double shift to accomodate filming, myself and half a dozen fellow nurses along with a very keen & enthusiastic former patient, Sue vision became a short film reality. Please enjoy this fun insight into burns nursing.
